Volunteer positions available on the Wildlife Park and Education / Discovery Centre
Hours 10am - 4pm
Minimum one day a week for three months, or three week block placement.
Please note: all three week block placements are full until October 2010. There is only limited availability one day a week placements - your application may be subject to a waiting list.

General information upon successful application:
Duties include: general husbandry of all species on an assigned section, except big cats. Due to the primate protocol in place, volunteers do not have direct contact with primates.
It is recommended you bring waterproof clothing, Wellington boots and steel-toe boots (Please note: trainers / sandals are not allowed when on the park).
All volunteers / students are required to participate in the native species survey.
An up-to-date tetanus is required for all work on-site.
All volunteers / work experience students must be over 18 years old.
