ISIS
Zoos and aquariums are leaders in the effort to breed and care for endangered animals - as a network, they are the "gene bank" of the web of life. The International Species Information System (ISIS) supports this network with the world standard zoological data collection and sharing software, now used by 825 institutions in 76 countries. ISIS delivers and supports the world’s most current, comprehensive and reliable source of information on animals and their environments for zoos, aquariums and related organizations to serve institutional, regional and global animal management and conservation goals.
IZE
The International Zoo Educators Association (IZE) is dedicated to expanding the educational impact of zoos and aquariums worldwide. Its mission is to improve the education programmes in the facilities of its members, to provide access to the latest thinking, techniques, and information in conservation education and to support excellence in animal care and welfare.
